We are pleased to provide an overview of J.E. Piano Studio.

J.E. Piano Studio located at Taman Andalas Jaya, Klang (near Taman Sri Andalas and Taman Rakyat).

You and your family members or friends are cordially invited to pay us a visit at our studio for 30 minutes free consultation with no obligation. This may in one way assist to draw a passion / interest, and should you or your children are keen, they may consider to give it a try for one or two months.

The instructor (J.E.Cheng), earned his Master (Music), who is specialized in Piano Pedagogy (art of teaching) and Performance, do not merely teach a student on how to obtain the skill of playing a piano, rather focus on instilling the interest into an individual to have the passion for music, self-driven instead of being forced.

We are also keen to intake those who have once experienced or encountered situations listed below:

1. Student and teacher could not get along / adapt to each.

2. Student stopped learning, because their piano teacher left for further studies or for whatsoever reason, and currently could not find a suitable replacement.

3. Student preferred a piano lesson to be conducted directly by an instructor on one-to-one basis.

4. Student who once lost their passion for music, due to whatsoever reasons can opts to reconsider.

5. Parent preferred to have an environment that provides parental care and advices for their children’s education in music; that paves way to tertiary education.

6. Parents felt that their children are unique, therefore, required an instructor / teacher who can be adaptable to their children.

7. Parent preferred to have an instructor / teacher that tailor their teaching method in accordance to an individual student’s interest, and capability.

8. Parent sees the needs for their children in pursuing piano lesson, but unable to convince or persuade them.

I have been playing guitar for 24 years. 10 years purely classical and i generally teach anyone who has an interest from the most basic to advance. from grade(1-4)
Graded music exam syllabuses : ABRSM

i also teach pop songs and rock but my forte is in CLASSICAL music. To me, if you can play classical, all other styles is easy. however the same can’t be said if you know pop and what to play classical. it will be much harder to adapt. therefore classical is superior technically and theoretically. Playing classical guitar also gives you the ability to perform solo instead of relying on a band.

i teach music theory also (grade1-5) and i also have a piano.
